THE ISSUES FACING

LOS ANGELES

  • Crime

Here in Los Angeles, we have watched crime rise to historic proportions. Homicides are up 47% and Violent Crimes are up 86% and the cause is linked directly to failed bail reform policies, allowing criminals back on the street the same day, and defunding the police which has put our neighborhoods and communities in the crosshairs of criminals. Criminals are not held accountable while everyday citizens have an uphill battle for justice, if they receive it at all. I pledge that when in office, the rights of the victims will supersede the rights of the criminal!

  • Homelessness

Homelessness in Los Angeles has become big business. It is a humanitarian crisis in our own city that needs to be addressed honestly. Patch work programs which only try to house the homeless miss the mark on the true issue, mental health. We need more mental health programs like the ones offered at Midnight Mission on skid row. These programs teach a man how to fish, while reconnecting them with family and loved ones. We can’t continue to treat the homeless as a single, faceless mass because they are individual people: a mother, a father, a brother or a sister. As your elected official, these are the solutions I would fight tooth and nail for.

  • Inflation

California has the highest taxes in the nation, highest gas prices in the nation, second highest housing cost in the nation while food costs continue to rise. The average Angeleno cannot afford to sustain this current path. As government continues to grow bigger and bigger, and simultaneously over-reaches into our lives more and more, it tightens the squeeze on the average person’s ability to make ends meet. To make matters worse, the current California state assembly members are working on impeding Angelinos’ potential to even qualify for work.

AB 1993 - Mandates COVID19 vaccine for employees and independent contractors

  • Parental Rights

For the past 2 years, Angelenos have watched the government overstep the bounds of what was for hundreds of years sanctified to the family. A parent has the right to decide what’s best for their child, not the State. The choice is yours and I will fight for that God given right of all parents.

    Current bills to watch:

SB866- Would allow children 15+ to consent to vaccines without parental consent or knowledge.

SB871- Mandates COVID19 vaccine to attend in person schooling, removes PBE’s as currently allowed by law for newly added vaccines.

SB1479 - Requires schools to continue COVID19 testing.

1296- The bill, no later than January 1, 2025, would require the department to establish the “Viral Surveillance Hub” (VSH) that would be responsible for timely communication with any laboratory that conducts viral surveillance and identifies a potential novel virus or variant.

SB1184- Will change the California Medical Privacy act to authorize a health care provider or service plan to disclose your child’s medical information to a school-linked services coordinator.

SB1100- Allows the members of a legislative body to remove individuals who willfully interrupt their meeting. The measure defines willful interruption as intentionally engaging in behavior that substantially impairs or renders infeasible the orderly conduct of the meeting in accordance with law and applicable rules. It includes, but is not limited to: (1) a failure to comply with reasonable regulations prohibiting force, threats of force, or intimidation; and (2) a threat against another person’s free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to them by the state and federal constitutions or law.

AB1797- Would merge the three CA Immunization Registry tracking systems to create one statewide system and all vaccines will be required to be entered into the CA Immunization Registry (CAIR). Schools and other entities would have access to all vaccine records, rather than just those of their students/patients or the particular vaccines required for school.

AB1940- School-Based Health Center Support Program The bill would authorize a school-based health center to provide primary medical care (including immunizations), behavioral health services, or dental care services onsite or through mobile health or telehealth. School-based health centers shall collect and report data to the California Public Health Department. To integrate the school-based health center in the school or local educational agency’s community school model.

AB2098- This bill would designate the dissemination or promotion of misinformation or disinformation related to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, or “COVID-19,” by a physician or surgeon as unprofessional conduct, allowing the Medical Board to take action against such physician or surgeon.
